FESTIVALS OF CUSCO

PRESENTATION CEREMONY OF THE FESTIVAL OF CUSCO

The presentation ceremony of the Festivals of Cusco is carried out in different scenarios one of them was the Government Palace and three years ago it is from the Esplanade the Qorikancha, calling for an approximate number of 150 artists who perform various rituals, event presided over by the Inca, the Coya and the royal entourage of Inti Raymi 2016.

FEATHERING OF THE CITY

The Municipality of Cusco for the purpose of encouraging the participatory spirit of the general population has feathering of the city of Cusco multicolored teaches throughout the month of June.

REPRESENTATION OF THE CRUZ VELACUY (CROSSES PARTY)

This singular sacredly traditional festival that takes place throughout the Andean region between 2 and 3 May, is adopted by the Qosqo Native Art Center a customs stamp and as such.

PARADE AND SCROLLS

During June they are held parades and pageants different school levels, of Universities and Institutes offer their greetings to Cusco with the presentation of dances and processions that enter competition and are rated by a team of specialized juries, these parades take place in the Plaza de Armas of Cusco where EMUFEC installs the necessary logistical elements.

NIGHT LIGHT AND SOUND

The Cusquenian sky dazzles with fireworks show that for more than 30 minutes illuminates the imperial sky, previous to the show are presented local, national and international arts groups, this event takes place in the Plaza de Armas of Cusco where about 80,000 people attend.

CIVIC PARADE

The Civic Parade, activity instituted in 1967 as an important part of the Jubilee Celebrations of Cusco, convenes the meaningful participation of more than 250 institutions.

EVOCATION AND STAGING OF THE RITUAL CEREMONY OF INTI RAYMI

The Inti Raymi or Festival of the Sun was one of the largest celebrations taking place in the empire.

KACHARPARI OF CUSCO'S FESTIVITIES

The Cusqueños enjoy a gastronomic and musical festival that takes place on the Square of Rejoicing in a party atmosphere and farewell to the Feasts of the Cusco, attending authorities, public and foreign visitors.
